He looked good last year and in first 5 games.

In the last 8 games he has played very bad football. Tonight, he was awful. He just looked so off. Lack of confidence, huge turnover errors in key spots. Pressure made him check off most of the night and he questioned himself a lot. Honestly, he reminded me of Trent Edwards. I like the kid and hope Flacco gets over this game unlike Edwards vs Cleveland on MNF.

Ya but he still played better and has had a great year. Flacco has struggled the last 8 weeks

3 TDs 260 yds in victory is a good game regardless of the 2 INTs. None of hich were in Redzone

Rodgers will win a Superbowl one day. I truly believe that.

And Flacco hasn't played poorly in his last 8 games either...

Last week 289 and a TD in a win vs Pittsburgh.

Glad to see Bills fans tearing down a franchise QB when we have lacked one for a decade.

Last week 289 and a TD in a win vs Pittsburgh.

In the last 8 games Flacco has thrown 2 TDs only once. He actually has 8 INTs and 6 TDs in that stretch. Furthermore, he has had 0 TDs in three of those games. And in 5 of the 8 games he has threw under 200 yds. Flacco is struggling.

Flacco will be a hall of famer one day. I think he's already a top 7 QB in the NFL right now....

Guy is in his second year with a group of WR's that are not exactly lighting the world on fire. There is going to be some ups in downs with young QB's thats why not waiting to draft one is important

agreed... and still, the guy is showing poise and confidence. He's got a great arm, and pretty good pocket presence.

I'd take him over any of the QB's available in this year's draft.

Out on a limb there huh? I'd take Brady, Brees, Manning, Manning, Rivers, Mcnabb, Palmer, Roethlisberger, Warner, Rodgers, and Ryan over him right now.

The point of this thread was not to say Flacco sucks, isn't a future HOF'er(tad early eh), has no potential. The point was he has regressed! He will hopefully get back on trail.

and one was a fluke bounce.

I would like to personally thank Mr. Block "O" for this in-depth analysis and really busting the lid off this story IMHO. Solid commentary that even the great Solomon Wilcox could appreciate.

He may not be as good as those guys right now... but if I were building a team right now, -I'd rather have Flacco over McNabb and Warner easily.
He's one of the top young QBs right now.

its called a sophomore slump people. Big Ben has ruined expectations of young QBs.

bingo.

not many rookies go 14-1 (13-0 in the regular season) as a starter and an AFC championship in their rookie year under center, with a squad that only won 6 games the previous year.

then follow it up with superbowl victories in years 2 and 5...
