Moorman ended up with a 53 yd average from 4 punts, with 3 inside the 20. Pretty awesome generally.

Does anyone remember the game against Greenbay in 2002 where we lost 10-0 and Antoine Winfield absolutley destroyed Terry Glenn on one of his catches? Anyways, I recall Moorman punting the ball out of our endzone, and having it end up at the Greenbay 10 or something? It was the sickest punt I've ever seen.

Moorman is an amazing weapon. The guy has kept us in so many games by winning the field position battle against bad teams all by himself. I'm not kidding. The other guys at times can get five or six first downs and he can beat them back to their own goal line to start again. Not only can he boom them but the ball positioning is amazing when that really long kick is not required. A few weeks ago I said he could be the greatest punter that ever lived if he played in a dome and got lambasted for it. I still think he's one of the best I've ever seen and his skills have been squandered by bad quarterbacking.

Well, he is the best player on our team, so I wasn't too surprised by that punt.

But yeah, Moorman is the freaking man.

I don't remember the exact game but do remember the first game he kicked in at RWS. He was just the new punter on the team but he boomed one and I turned to my then GF and said holy crap did you see that this guy is huge! It was over 70 yards and was over our heads in the upper deck too. When it's one of his first kicks you don't think it's a fluke. It wasn't. Years of bad football and great punting.

Plus he is like Mr. Off-feild extraordinaire.

Plus he can throw the damn football and make decisions better than all of our QBs.

When the punter is our best player for the last 5 years it tells you how pathetic this team is and how incompetant management is.

I'm not being sarcastic, just factual.

It's also pretty astonishing that no one is disagreeing with the notion that Moorman is our team MVP. There isn't, honestly, much reason to disagree actually. And that's pretty durn sad.

However, I've been impressed by Fred Jackson. I think he's definitely a keeper.
