I've been following the Sabres the best I can. So basically I catch a rare game live and stat watch while trying to get the pulse of the team thru feedback that I sort thru here in this forum and news on the web.

I noticed Tyler is getting well over 20 minutes a game of ice time. That is huge for a 2008 1st rd draft pick IMO.

So overall how do you diehards feel about his game ???? at 6'8" he's a beast. But he must be doing a bunch right to get so much playing time as a rookie.

he's better than most of the Bills.

He's already a top pairing defenseman at 19. Plus, when he was drafted he was considered a raw project pick. Pretty remarkable how far he's come.

Sky is the limit for him, one of the best young defenseman in the league.

Ryan Miller and Tallinder-Myers have been the most consistent good things all year.

He is a natural with the puck too. You ought to see this guy fly down the ice into the opposing zone. Thing of beauty!

He's solid, 85% dependable which for a young defenseman is excellent. A few more added lbs when he grows into that frame will make him formidable coming into the zone and along the boards.

The only improvement I see will be correcting his occasional tendency to get a bit haphazard with his passes. Huge deal? No..it doesn't happen too often, but once he learns to eliminate that from his game he'll be in the 90's for reliability...

There are Norris Trophies in his future.

Wow !

I knew he was having an impact but the feedback is screaming stud in the making.

Can't wait to get to see a few more games. If the Sabres keep this pace up I will probably break donw and get center ice for the stretch to playoffs. Then I'll get to see the kid in action some

Fun Hockey is worth watching, what the Sabres played last year was not fun hockey

Myers was getting almost as much talk from the Vs peeps today as Miller. They were just in awe of what I was talking about above.
