It is Poz, but our weakside is very weak right now.

The best linebacker in Buffalo is Mike Grier!

Poz had a hell of a game, but did anyone else notice how Scott can go AROUND potential blockers instead of being swallowed up by them? Poz always seems to get swallowed up, despite having 30 lbs on Scott.

All things considered, Scott has played well at LB.

According to yahoo sports, not updated for this game...

the POS-58 solo/16 assist/74 total/1 sack/1 int/3 FF/2 pds
Scott-47 solo/19 assist/66 total/1 sack/1 int/1 FF 3 pds

Add in todays game and you get...

66/17/83/1/2/3/2 for PP and
56/19/75/2/1/1/3 for Scott (although the tip/int should count as a pd)

Pretty comparable #'s, unfortunately, considering one guy is a safety playing out of position.

Too bad our other Safety to LB experiment has failed to produce. So much that we initiated ANOTHER safety to LB experiment in Scott to fill in. Geez.

Ya I like Scott he is a good player... Good to have on the team as a S/LB can fill in and perform.
I like him a lot more as a situational guy

Sadly, I agree.

Scott is playing out of position and has been our best LB this season.

He doesn't get swallowed up by blockers, he makes tackles, he can cover guys out of the backfield and tight ends a little.

All of the above none of our other LBers do worth a damn.

this is the same Brian Scott who overpersues week in and week out allowing runners to gash us for 20+ yard runs right?

no thank you. this kid doesn't fill any gaps... and drifts out of position all the time. (so do our other LBers so who cares at this point?)
