Any news on Wood?

I know it's only a little over 3 weeks but, I don't remember hearing anything post surgery. Was the surgery smooth? Has anybody given any type of time table as to when he might be able to come back? Last I heard was he was still in Jacksonville undergoing surgery. Maybe I've missed some recent news about Wood. I know it's going to be a while before he suits up again, but just wondering about him.

Aside from hearing the surgery was successful, I've heard nothing concrete about the exact damage done or prognosis.

However... I've heard through the grapevine that it was strictly bone (not ligament) damage and that he should be ready for training camp.

I would think that even a compound fracture, if only the bone(s) were affected, would be less of a problem than serious ligament, nerve, or achilles damage.

in an ugly, pathetic season, wood was a bright spot. i can see a couple really good years with him and levitre. we just need more of them to solidify that line.

I do occasional news searches but haven't seen any updates. The first step to a successful 2010 would be getting him healthy ASAP.
