who might be consider drafting in 2011, assuming Brohm has not stepped up. Candidates available include:

Jake Locker, Washington 6.3, 226lbs - very athletic
Pat Devlin, Delaware 6.4, 220lbs - huge arm
Christian Ponder, Florida St 6.3, 218lbs - intelligent
Jerrod Johnson, Texas A&M 6.5, 243lbs
Colin Kaepernick, Nevada, 6.6, 220lbs
Case Keenum, Houston, 6.2, 210lbs - product of system?
Jevan Snead, Ole Miss, 6.3, 215lbs - talented but inaccurate?
Greg McElroy, Alabama, 6.2, 220lbs - a winner? Not counting juniors like Terrelle Pryor, John Brantley or Blaine Gabbert

Whilst I wouldn't be upset taking Bradford this year, there are plenty of prospects our scouts can be busy with whilst we see if Brohm has what it takes

I think he is going to be out this year which is why I've not included him. I've sent Snead back because his junior season has been so poor

Isn't it a bit too early to figure out which college QBs might be good next year?

Bills should sign a solid free agent QB. They have a good young secondary, should go after a good front 7 player in the draft to bolster their defense

Any ideas on a "solid FA QB"? I don't know of any.

And I totally agree that we should bolster the D-line AND our O-line.

With a decent LT, David Carr could hold the fort for a season or two unless Brohm steps up which would be even better news
