Ruff is generally a good coach, but this team's PP sucked even back when we won the President's cup.

3 years later, it still sucks.

This is just ridiculous now. Get someone in here who knows how to work a PP, in terms of both a coach and a player.

lack of a PP cost us at least 1 point against the Penguins tonight....

That was a flaccid powerplay at best. Penguins were aggressive on the PK and the Sabres just sucked.

OP, I've been saying this for years. They do not have a coach on the team who is offensive minded, nor who has a proven history of success running a PP. It's another situation of this organization ignoring a need and hoping what they have will somehow, magically figure it out. They really need to address this problem at some point after the season is over because it continues to be a problem. The PP hasn't been good since Arniel left the organization.
