Speculation on my part.

We had info that we will start at GM search after x-mas and now this says that Homlgren turned down Seattle and may weigh his options over the next days and weeks:

"It is presumed the Browns offered Holmgren the job during his visit and it appears he is weighing his options, which could include several other teams in the days and weeks ahead."

Ehh, I don't know. I just have no idea what the hell One Bills Drive is trying to accomplish.

If he doesn't go back to Seattle, he'll end up in Cleveland.

Just IMO.

He's definitely not going back to Seattle...so we'll see if Cleveland is his destination.

Only if Cowher and Shanahan decline.

Why kid yourself? The bills will probably end up signing someone like Rich Kotite. Ralph is blowing a smoke screen.

I'd love to have Holmgren involved. He's the only big name guy (or him Shanahan and Cowher) that proved he could be successful with two different teams and was the only one of them to take two different teams to the Super Bowl.

I doubt he's heading to Buffalo though. I t sounds like the Browns job is merely a formality at this point.

If Holmgen doesn't sign this week, then we'll know he wants to hear Buffalo's offer.

The Bills have stated that the GM search will begin after Christmas. Holmgen would be a fool to not wait... If for nothing more than to have the Browns sweeten the pot a bit.
