http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/billsb_logo.gif Buffalo Bills: Sam Bradford (http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2010sbradford.php), QB, Oklahoma http://walterfootball.com/college/Oklahoma_logo.gif
In the past, I never would have given the Bills a quarterback this high; Ralph Wilson has never been one to spend tons of money, so asking him to pony up top-10 money for a quarterback was just something he wasn't interested in.

However, rumors have surfaced that Wilson is willing to give Mike Shanahan $10 million to coach his team. Perhaps Wilson knows he needs to act quickly if he wants to see his Bills win a Super Bowl. If that's the case, he'll be more than willing to spend a good amount of money on a franchise quarterback.

Sam Bradford's multiple shoulder injuries, his arm strength and his shotgun-heavy offense will scare some general managers away from looking at him in the top 10. But Wilson might be desperate enough to pull the trigger.

Round two

http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/billsb_logo.gif Buffalo Bills: Jason Fox, OT, Miami http://walterfootball.com/college/Miami_logo.gif
If the Bills draft a quarterback in the first round, they'll seriously take a look at obtaining an offensive tackle here. If they can't protect their signal-caller (38 sacks allowed) it won't matter who's under center.

Pick change; previously Trent Williams, OT

Interesting round 3 prediction...

http://walterfootball.com/images/fball/billsb_logo.gif Buffalo Bills: Pat Angerer, ILB, Iowa http://walterfootball.com/college/Iowa_logo.gif
Buffalo needs to solidify the middle of its defense. The team has given up at least 100 rushing yards to each opponent it has faced since Week 3. If Pat Angerer pans out, it would allow Paul Posluszny to kick out to strongside linebacker.

Mock drafts in December are as useful as screen doors on submarines.

Bradford is made of glass - no thanks to an injury prone QB

And I'm not a big fan of players from 'DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH u'

I think Washington will take Bradford.

and depending who is the GM and Head Coach come Feb/Mar will determine what we do in R2 and R3 regarding our defence.

Hardly - he missed this season only because he was planning too declare so went the surgery route to mend a minor shoulder strain to make sure it didn't affect his draft status

This massively injury prone QB had a single surgery lasting a colossally long 35 minutes

Big deal

I know he had the shoulder injury then came back before it was healed and re-aggravated it. Does he have a history of other injuries or is it just this one? I honestly do not recall. If it's just this one I would absolutely entertain the thought provided the doctors give him a pass. If there is a long history of other injuries then I am obviously not as comfy.

I would love those 3 picks if they came true!

Then add in D'Anthony Smith, DT, La Tech in the 4th
Maybe a guy like David Gettis, WR, Baylor in the 5th
Philip Dillard, ILB, Neb in the 6th
Then wrap it up with Tim Brown, WR, Rutgers in the 7th to be our new PR/KR

I just know whenever I tuned in to watch Bradford play, he was either injured or getting knocked out of the game, despite having one of the best o-lines in college football.

Without durability concerns, hes a top 3 or 2 pick in pretty much any draft. With them, hes a mid 1st rounder where a team will just take a chance because the position is so invaluable.

I'd be OK with that draft. I obviously want Bradford and don't believe he is made of glass like my esteemed fellow poster. I would pick a little differently though.

Originally I mocked out, Sam Bradford, then Fox just like Walterfootball. But DB was saying something about how Fox will play RIGHT tackle instead of left. So I would change it to either the best left tackle available (May even be Williams from Oklahoma.) or go after one of the better DT's left in the second, OLB, etc.

I don't really like the third round pick, there are some DTs and other LBs I like in that spot. But then again, I want us to change to a 3-4.

One LT versus, RT. Id be interested to hear how teams decide who's capable of being a LT and who isn't. DB could speak better to that than me. I can only speak to the way I look at it.

I'm not sure where you draw the line. I think its clear with the bigger, slower T's who seem to "lumber" a bit and just aren't very quick. Ben Ossai is an example of that. But, there a whole group that's in the middle.

When I watch T's I watch how quick their feet are, their size, strength, leverage, and footwork. If they have good athleticism, adequate size, adequate strength, and can slide quick enough to create the pocket, I would think they could protect the passer against most DE's.

To me, the DE's can bull rush, beat you around the edge, or fake you out with moves. If you have enough strength to handle the bull rush, enough quickness and footwork to slide fast enough to cover the edge, and enough athleticism to recover fast enough from getting moves put on you, you should be able to do the job of a LT.

You also need to be able to get good push and block at the next level after the line of scrimmage. But that's run specific.

Obviously some are better than others and better in different areas. And some guys have below average aspects of their game which may rank them lower regardless of whether they are a LT or RT prospect.

When I watch Fox, I see a guy who would seem to be able to do the job as long as he adds muscle and strength to his upper body to deal with the bull rush, and if he can improve his technique and not block so high at times. I think he certainly has the quickness, size, and athleticism.

I want to go back and watch more tape ofhim from the GT game. He would have to deal with Derrick Morgan and thats no easy task.

Thats just my opinion.

I have been reading Fox is projected to the left due to his athleticism. Walter Football projects him to the left, but says little more.

Scout (http://cfn.scout.com/2/856952.html)has him as only the 25th best tackle coming out?

At this point I do not want anything to do with Bradford. He appears to be a china doll.

I will wait for more information about the draft before I finalize my opinion on who we should take

They didnt even get the name right for Adam Ulatoski (probably just a typo)... I think they are way off here.

BTW, I re-watching the Miami-Georgia Tech game as we speak and adding notes:

depends. i think he had some horrible medical advice on his shoulder. Dislocated shoulders sometimes can be harmed pretty easily if they don't heal right.

I know this from experience. it doesn't mean you're not tough, or break easily.. it just means you got crappy medical advice.

Just finished watching Jason Fox again in the Miami and GT game.

I really think he has LT ability and he looks like a good prospect, hes not elite, but hes a good prospect. Id put him in the mix with Capers, Brown, and Zane Beadles. I think he will go in the 2nd round but could go in late round 1 even.

I like him a lot and would like him as a Bill.
