First Priority should be finding a starting QB

This is just ****ing sad how bad QB play has been since Bledsoe has been gone. Finding a QB should be priority number 1.

disagree. you take the LT and get the run game to be solidified. and cut back on the penalties. then a game manager can succeed.

we don't have a run game, we don't hvae a pass rush, and we don't have a run defense. run game is close to being servicable. our WR's are taking a step back next year, and we need a lot of help on defense.

don't get a QB here. no matter what we take, we will suck next eyar. we'll have another shot at the top QB will a better line and a real linebacker or DT added.

Neither Fitzpatrick or Edwards is a backup QB on another team. The nfl has become a qb league just look at the rules now how they protect them. QB is a must in the offseason.

O-line is the top priority...not qb.

Only requirement is a starter for next year... doesn't have to be longer than that. At the same time however we should be grooming one or two future QB's.

Of course if we trade for a franchise QB, I'm all for that.

Get Campbell, draft a LT, get a O coord that can actually call plays with a purpose.

Both QB and OT are accute weaknesses on this team right now. On the other hand, there is a chance that at least part of the solution might actually be on the roster. Brian Brohm has at least as much chance to start on the team as any QB youpick up either in free agency or in the draft. Jamon Meredith and Demetrius Bell won't be nearly as raw as they were the first time they lined up at tackle for the Bills this season. I'm not saying that you ignore those positions in the draft, but what you do in the draft depends in part on how the draft falls, and the odds aren't very good that the Bills will be able to get good value at QB in the first round.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

If we don't touch a QB in this draft I won't be unhappy.

Draft a proper LT and get them at least 16 games experience

                    Draft some DL help

Draft a MLB who can stop the run

Add a WR and RB who can spell replace Reed and Fred-x

                    Get some further DL depth

Look to draft a guy like Pat Devlin who'll have another 13 games experience in college, in 2011 draft, and put him on a team where the new coaching staff have started to get the team playing the basics right.

Re: First Priority should be finding a starting QB

We need a line I guess... but it's hard to make an argument about that when you are on like your 8th different oline in one year.

But we sure as hell need a quarterback and one with mobility. Even if we had Butler and D Bell and Wood back there with Levitre and Hang, we'd still be crappy with these guys we have starting at QB.

Fitz at least looks like a Kelly Holcomb esque backup, if absolutely nothing at all more.

Edwards looks like a trainwreck and should seriously consider retiring. He's one bad injury away from something really serious.

I'd say put in Brohm, but I don't want to ruin that guy's career before it begins.

first priority is a GM who knows how to evaluate talent

Pretty comical to see people pining away for "the good old days" under Bledsoe.

Fitz isn't starting material, but he'd make for a serviceable #2. I wouldn't be against bringing in a guy like Jason Campbell if he could be had on the cheap. I don't think he's a long-term solution. And frankly, I just don't think he's a "winner," but he's still way better than anything we currently have on the roster. He can make all the throws and with a solid team around him, he could be a game-manager type.

Btw, I saw Rob Johnson at the gym this morning in Irvine, so I know he's still available. lol.
