Look at the 2000-2009 drafts - this says it all.

10 years worth of drafts and almost nothing to show for it.

The guys in red are those that at least started or played here for a significant amount of time - and most of them played terribly for this team. The guys in blue are those that turned into stars for the Bills. All the others (label them as you will - busts, bad picks, whatever) are in black.

It almost appears the Bills would have done just as well had they not drafted anybody.

    2000, 2004, 2005 and 2008 were absolute throwaway years.

I realllllly like the 2009 draft, minus the Maybin pick.

Too early to say that Shawn Nelson is a bust. Likewise Leondis McKelvin.

The problem with the likes of Maybin, Ellis and Hardy is the coaching staff have not played them, so we have no idea what we have.

I wasn't even going to list the 2009 draft because it is way too early to even judge it.

don't we get a post like this once a month

The season is over the team sucks from top to bottom

GET OVER IT and see what changes are made after the season if nothing (which you will say nothing ever changes) then yes ***** and post all your crap by that time everyone will be *****ing about the same thing

but they have made it clear they want to make big changes this offseason so the past doesn't really matter

Why does it feel like the offseason? Such a shame, such a shame.

They should make up new jersey patches for next year:

2009--Nelson's going to be solid, IMO...Maybin might contribute as a LB, Harris still has a shot.

2008-McKelvin will be fine. Hardy and Ellis need to produce next season or hit the road. Pretty sad if Corner turns out to be the best of this draft.

2007-Could turn out to be a total disaster. Only hope is the POS gets moved outside and plays better there than in the middle.

2006-Depth players at best, Whitner turning into a disappointment, Butler and Williams pleasant surprises.

                        2005-A punt returner. Whoopee.

                        2004-Thank goodness for Evans.

                        2003-2 for 7.

2002-Backups, and Coy doesn't deserve the red IMO.

                        2001-Two blues...nice.

2000-Sammy Morris best of the bunch.

Pretty sad stuff, Eb....Does anybody dare go back and do a 'shoulda coulda woulda'?
