Threw the perfect pass at buzzer. Went like 80 yards down field with a lil over a minute down 6. Ben threw for 500 yardssssssssssss Nuts. Crazy ending. God, I wish our games were that fun to watch!

Probably the game of the year so far.

Green Bay looked eerily Bills-like on that final drive.

500 yards is about 4 games worth of passing for the bills...

So, has a QB ever threw for more then 500 yds, while throwing 3 or more TDs and no picks, AND throwing the wining TD on the last play?

That seriously may have been the best single-game regular season QBing ever.

I think we passed on Ben. I don't know anymore. I'm numb.

No. We didn't. Ben was taken at 11. We chose at 13 with Evans. I wanted Tommie Harris that year :(

no. everyone and their brother knew Ben wasn't falling past Pittsburgh... but rather then trade up TD just sat like an idiot and watched him go to steel-town. Probably because unlike the scouts who knew he was a perennial pro-bowler the moment they watched him in college... TD decided not to risk it.

****** moron.

and that's not revisionist history... look up my posts from that ****** draft. ugh. I was comparing him favorably to John Elway for cripes sakes. He was my favorite QB in the class. Argh... this still bugs me so much.

I had heard at the time that we actually had tried to move up, but perhaps we had not offered enough. Is there more information about what actually happened that day out there?

the story i heard is we lowballed jax for their pick (our 1st plus a 4th is the offer I heard for their 9th overall... but i don't know how true that is).

Jax decided to draft reggie williams instead of dropping back with us

Did TD also try to trade into the 10th pick which belonged to the Texans who ended up staying at 10 and taking Dunta Robinson?
