Don't write out Kubiak in Houston. They are very alive in the playoff race.

I don't think Spagnuola is exempt. Del Rio in Jax and Haley might be out in KC, too.

I know they'd be considered "retreads", but i wouldn't mind Fox or Kubiak in Buffalo if either are gone.

I dont think Wade will be gone in big D, Mangini might not necessarily leave if Holmgren comes in at GM only, and Kubiak and Lovie might stay as well.

KC-HaleyLovie is safe, Cable with the way the Raiders have been playing is probably safe unless new things emerge from the Randy Hanson case...Morris is safe unless he resigns, Fox is 50-50 depending on if they can get Cowher and Zorn may be safe if he chooses to stay and Shanahan picks the 'Boys or the Bills then again Wade will be safe if he wins at least 1 playoff game

Chicago would have to pay out a ton of money to get rid of Lovie Smith and his staff...

He's safe...

Shanny is either gonna wind up in Dallas or Washington.

I think the Bills will end up with Fassel as HC and Haslett as DC.

That's my prediction.

Not sure how you can have Phillips fired already, the Cowboys are in the playoffs right now, and control their own destiny regarding the division. They also are coming off of a huge upset of New Orleans, in New Orleans.

Morris won't be fired.

I doubt Kubiak is fired, and Mangini probably won't be either.

I think Cable will keep his job, too.

So we end up with the guy we should have hired 4 years ago.

I wouldn't mind that (I DO NOT want Haslett as HC, but DC would be ok). And I like Fassel.

I've already resigned myself to the "fact" that we will not get a "big name" coach. I just feel like it's not gonna happen. If that is the case, I think Fassel would be one of the guys I want. Russ Grimm too.

.

Doesn't matter.

Wade will be defeated in his first round playoff game. In fact, I don't believe he's ever won a playoff game as HC.

Anything less than a SB win and he's as good as gone.

Because Dallas has a real owner.

Wade, Morris, Fox, Kubiak, Mangini and Cable all have very good shots at keeping their jobs.

Wade just beat the Saints and if the Boys win a playoff game he is safe.

Morris just inherited a horrible team that was stripped of its talented players so he is not going anywhere till after next season at least .

Fox has had QB issues this season but his defense is playing well and they like Fox down there. If Carolina wins out they will keep Fox. They owe him a lot of cash.

Lovie Smith is owed a whole lot of money over the next couple years and the Owner will not fire him. The financial commitment to his is HUGE and rumors are that Lovie cannot be fired.

Kubiak has the Texans playing well right now and they have a shot at the playoffs. They have improved every year since Kubiak took over and I think they give him one more shot.

Mangini and the Browns have been playing decent lately and it would not surprise me if they give Mangini more time to build the team through the draft.

Cable in Oakland has been doing a great job. Oakland is playing everyone tough and has won some games against good opponents. The Raiders actually look like a football team for the first time in years. Plus, Al will have a tough time finding the type of coach he wants anyways. Cable might be his best option.

No. Jerry likes Wade, they have a good working relationship and Wade humors Jerry with his input on team matters. If they make the playoffs and win a playoff game, Wade will stay.

For once, I agree with you, Mahdi. I think Cable, considering what he's had to work with, has done a good job in Oakland. C'mon, Charlie Frye? Bruce Gradkowski? Jamarcus Russell? Their (Oakland) QB situation makes Buffalo's QB's look like probowlers.

It's also not Lovie's fault that Cutler is playing like Rex Grossman. I know, their D has sucked, but losing Urlacher hurts, and they've had a few other key injuries on that side of the ball.

Keep in mind there are often 7-8 HC firings each year. Some of you don't have that many openings just because some team got lucky and beat an unbeaten team. One big win doesn't mean **** when you have sucked for tweo years or more in a row. You have to look at a timeframe of games not just one big win.
