17 players on IR.

This is just rediculous. Site also says Edwards has a high ankle sprain.

ouch. i had one of those to go with a broken tibia... on the whole the ankle sprain was far more painful then the broken tibia.

Somehow we've managed more injuries than the nightmare of a season we had a couple years ago. Amazing...

We will have a starting line up Sunday that, compared to opening day, will be missing 3 starters on the O-line, our starting and (maybe) our backup QB, 2 of our 3 TEs, both starting CBs, 2 of our 3 starting LBs, a starting S, plus several backups and a replacement player or two.

We have had an epidemic of injuries the last few years.

Anyone think they're trying to get the number of IR players up as high as they can so they can have an arbitrary number to lean on as a "convienant" excuse in the offseason as to why they didn't do good?

"Well as you all know we had 21 players on IR...a new NFL record, so as long as we stay healthy we will be fine! Buy season tickets and merch!" says Russ Brandon

More interesting than whether or not Youboty will play is what that word is that got censored. Six letters, five asterisks, and left the p alone. Head-scratcher. Unless you just put p in front of a cuss word.

Pretty sure it was two years ago... I remember the Dallas MNF game, where Wilson was playing safety after having recently converted due to injuries.

Pretty sure it was two years ago... I remember the Dallas MNF game, where Wilson was playing safety after having recently converted due to injuries.Maybe it was each. I think last year was Schobel, Poz, Crowell and a whole slew of others. Remember we were all pissed because we felt Poz could have been back prior to years end, and we felt the rushed the decision.
