i wanted to see brohm after they signed him but looking at this line give him the offseason to learn whatever new offense we have with a new staff

The Bills put Trent Edwards on IR. Fitz is still on the 53 man roster, but he has a bum ankle. The Bills will not enter a game with a possibility of having only one fit QB available to play. The signing only makes sense. It gives the Bills a backup who can play and knows the system, not to say Hamdan is ever going to start a game . . . unless Brohm bets hurt.

Exactly... remember, they cut Hamdan to sign Brohm. Brohm has been with the team for the last month, not Hamdan. Hamdan was a no brainer to bring in to be the backup until Fitz is healthy and then the 3rd string for the rest of the year. Brohm is gonna start if Fitz isn't up to it.
