"A junior at the University of Maryland, offensive tackle Bruce Campbell has declared himself eligible for the 2010 NFL Draft, electing to forgo his senior season with the Terps.

The 6′7″ 310-pound tackle has been told by the NFL Advisory Board that he could be drafted anywhere between the middle of the first to the middle of the second round (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft10/news/story?id=4753887) this spring.

ESPN’s Scouts Inc has him ranked as the 24th best prospect overall. He’s still considered a bit of a work in progress by ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay, but had a good 2009 season and his upside is promising."

Considering how OTs have risen the last couple of drafts he may well be a top 10 pick

This is honestly who I think we end up with. Just a gut feeling

he's a work in process? of course he'll be a buffalo bills. hopefully we take him 10 slots too early just to prove yet again that we are the smartest people in the league.

I think he makes too much sense. Sure there will be some growing pains but even as a rook, he will be light years better than what we have now.

What a ridiculous statement

Babe Ruth was from Maryland; he was an OK baseball player

Michael Phelps is better than your average doggy padler

Ed Norton is one the finest American actors

but the clincher has to be - born in Baltimore

.... DAVID HASSELHOFF

I rest my case

The multitude of awful things that come from Maryland more than cover these few random examples of competency.

Maryland is the worst state in the union.

I can doggy peddle faster than Babe Ruth, therefore your argument is flawed.

Does he still have a chain saw for a hand? I don't think the NFL is going to let him play with a chain saw for a hand!

Then again, it would add new meaning to the term "chop block".

Much better! That just means he has ****ty taste in schools and locale.

This can be fixed...mainly by getting him out of Maryland.

A little raw, but has all the tools you want your future LT to possess. Should be the second tackle off the boards after Okung.

Oh wait, I forgot- Liquor is much cheaper in MD than it is in VA. But other than cheap liquor and crab cakes, MD sucks.

"Good? Bad? I'm the guy with the gun."

and my favorite Bruce Campbell non-movie quote of all time...

“For a long time I was embarrassed to say I was a 'B' movie actor, ... But now that I see what Hollywood's putting out, I realized 'B' actually means 'better.'”

LOL a couple of months ago I said I'd draft this guy for his name alone. Imagine having Bruce Campbell on your own jersey!

I'd show up at every game dressed as Ash in the Bruce Campbell jersey.

BTW, I met him a few years back (the actor, not the LT). That's me and my buddy on the right and Bruce is on the left signing my Army of Darkness DVD.

yeah, we were definitely huge fanboys that day.

We also met Danny Trejo and Tom Savini that day (I know 90% of you don't know who they are, but that's what Google is for).

Unfortunately I don't have that one- the one I had him sign is a numbered limited release of Army of Darkness with an alternate ending. :nerd:
