View Full Version : Bills Colts on Primetime?

The decision will come no later than Tuesday, December 29 -- after the Week 16 games have finished. If the Colts beat the Jets, the simplest decision would be to give Indy a national audience for the last game of what could be the second perfect regular-season mark in three seasons. And absent a clear "win and you're in, lose and you're out" game involving a team from a large market and/or with a national following, Colts-Bills may be the only game guaranteed to attract significant interest.

If anyone with tickets that want to get rid of them, please contact me ASAP! Thanks

We were discussing the possibility of our game being flexed last weekend after the Bills/Patriots game. I could definitely see it happening...but January 3rd in Orchard Park at 8:30pm would be pretty ****ing cold! :cold:

I think its the perfect game for primetime. The Colts' pursuit of perfection and the Bills' spiraling ineptitude.

Colts 42 Bills 14. Do you think Peyton Manning will let the Bills stop him on his way to a perfect season?

Regardless, I will probably watch. As much as I hate the Bills sometimes, I never miss a game.

Great. The last thing we need is to have the entire world rooting against us.

If you didn't know that's been the case for years now.

Oh, it's perfect. The Colts will be trying to be perfect and the Bills stand in the way :D

The networks know that no one lays a better egg than we do in prime time. They will capture the Colts milestone. We will be like the Washington Generals taking on the Globe Trotters :laughter:

The way I look at it, it guarantees that I get to watch the last game of the year in the comfort of my living room. I'm all for it!

That might be better for me in terms of watching the game. I'll be in Puerto Rico so if it's not the night game, I'll be forced to watch it on my phone. At the same time, I loathe night games. They just allow more people to watch us embarrass ourselves.

You know, I really don't care.

If the Colts beat the Jets, beat us and go on to win the SB at 19-0, the Patriots' 18-1* will be forgotten by everyone except people who pronounce "part" and "pot" exactly the same.

I can't say I want the Bills to lose, because I never want the Bills to lose. But a loss in an already wasted season to take the Patriots down a peg is certainly a price worth paying. If the Bills lose, it's not going to bother me all that much.

Great another embarrassment on national TV.

Interestingly enough, unless there is a surge of folks wanting to buy tickets to see the Colts be undefeated (which is still contingent on tomorrow by the way) the game will probably black out in Buffalo. It would be the first primetime game blacked out in a long while. My wife got me tickets for a Christmas gift, so I will be there.

I could see WGRZ buying a block of tickets I guess, since the Bills are so infrequently on that channel. If it flexes, and it sells out, I expect something like 40,000 no shows that night.

We win the game and hurt manning for the season, thus opening the door wide open for the cheatriots to go to the SB and win it all. Tom Brady's mug is on the cover of SI with his huge grin. They have the Bills to thank.

I completely agree with this..if someone is gonna ruin it for them, let it be the Jets. I don't want the Bills to do NE any favors. :cynic:

Well if it gets flexed, I def. want to go. Already got a bid on Ebay for tickets, and already had some PM me with tickets. Haven't been to a game since we moved back to PA. If anyone has 2 extra, let me know!

to add to the horror, brady's SI picture will be with him hoisting the trophy with one hand, his baby with the other and kissing giselle while staring at the camera.

Although, the only way the bills hurt Manning is if they are telling "yo mama" jokes from the line of scrimmage. They aren't getting withint 5 yards of him. The video will become the gold standard on how to form a perfect pocket.

Brady's not hoisting any trophies this year.

Just won 2 tickets for $37 total in Topps Family Section. It will be good to get back to the Ralph. Hope that the Colts beat the Jets so there is a good reason of driving all that way! Let me know who else is going

Nope - Colts don't even care about their unbeaten record. They threw in the towel early against the Jets.

Soooo, Bills will very likely be playing 2nd and 3rd string of the Colts probably right from kick-off. It will be really sad if the Bill's starters can't win against the backup Colts.

I highly doubt the NFL will be dumb enough to flex Painter vs Brohm into prime time.
