All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Interim head coach Perry Fewell did a horrible job of game clock management in the waning moments of the first half. After a pass interference penalty by Reggie Corner gave New England a first down at the one yard line, Tom Brady was stopped on a keeper. The clock still had 1:35 remaining and Buffalo had two time outs. However Fewell decided against using one. On second down Laurence Maroney was stopped for no gain. Again, no timeout used. The Patriots finally punched it in on third down on a Maroney one yard run. By that time there was just 24 seconds remaining in the half. Despite a 44-yard kickoff return by Fred Jackson the Bills were nearly out of a time. A 56-yard last second field goal by Rian Lindell was short and wide left. Had Fewell used the timeouts earlier they would’ve had more time to go into the locker room with points.
whats the worst case scenario if you go for it or miss a field goal... the falcons score a td and you're down 17-0? who cares? what a bunch of pussys this organization has become...
