i say we just watch akili's college films which would surely influence us to sign him. once we get him to forget about the bengles, we could give him another chance to start all over again. maybe this time hell even get better! (johnson and brown arent very convincing backups for the future)

I would be happy to sign Smith. What would it hurt to give him a cheap deal with incentives? He obviously has/had the talent or he wouldn't have been so highly touted coming out of college.

We have AVP and Travis Brown as our backups. It certaintly wouldn't hurt to throw Smith into the mix.
