Wow. What a sad list.

Orton and Moore won't be going anywhere. Redmond and maybe Carr would be worth a look as a transition type while someone is drafted but that's probably a stretch.

Orton or Carr. But they are the best guys on the list and the best guys don't want to come here usually.

wow. that's quite a conglomerate of...well...something. None of them are on my wish list, but Carr, Troy Smith & maybe Moore could create interesting competition should we not find a QB by any other means.

only the guys in bold would be clear upgrades, the rest i selected would be possible upgrades... some more likely to succeed then others. The sad thing is, guys like Smith or Campbell are probably just as crappy as Edwards and Fitzpatrick.

I thought about adding Pennington to my list but the chance of his being healthy for a season is about nill.

As a starter? No way. I have zero interest in any of those guys.

I take it many haven't been watching Carolina the past few weeks with QB Matt Moore replacing Jake Turnover. He's playing very well and winning games.

Rob Johnson also played well briefly for Jacksonville.

i just want a capable OL that can let a running game take hold. i'm tired of boring football.

We have two decent backs...we have no real receivers. Get the backs running well. Get the TE (schouman and nelson have shown promise) some touches. Eventually try to find Lee Evans open and then can every other receiver and bring in a new corp of hungry, non-losers to the team. If evans doesn't turn it around with a decent running game, then the whole WR corp needs to be recreated.

But i don't want another QB to develop around this line and become "broken"

I would like to think a coach like Cowher or Grimm understands the value of a solid running game and would seriously develop a solid OL and running game around Jackson and Lynch.

The only 2 on that list I like at all are Troy Smith and Orton.

Matt Moore seems to be coming int his own but Carolina is more than likely going to seal the deal as their other option is better a getting the ball to the other team.

If Kitna wasn't 37, I'd consider him for a season. However, behind this atrocious line he'd wind up sitting in the pocket in a Hover-Round.

Croyle...never mind...

There has to be someone in the draft up to the challenge...ugh

Why don't we bring in Dan Marino for a tryout?

He just lost 33 pounds on Nutrisystem!

Jackson, 9 TD to 1 Int las year, and he is mobile. I like him, and I would take Orton as well.

QB's will go wherever they have the best chance to start, so Buffalo is actually a prime spot. And it's not like any of these guys are good enough to start getting picky about where they want to play.

Personally, the only guy I would have some interest in is Culpepper. I say bring him in and let him compete with Brohm.

Kyle Orton and Brodie Croyle would be the two I like the most from that list, Delhomme is also worth mentioning but that's only if Carolina decides to release him.

Those would be my 2 choices to hold the fort until we get our franchise QB.

Delhomme???

Guy is done. He has been worse than Trent or Fitz all year.

Everybody thought Bledsoe was done too, but then he went to Dallas and played 2 more pretty solid seasons, albeit not great ones.

Apparently, Troy Smith will ask to be traded at the end of the season. I'm not sure why he'd ask that since a team can just sign him to an offer sheet. Either way, he's informed Baltimore that he wants to leave for a chance to start somewhere...

How could anyone look at what we have and NOT want Orton or Tarvaris Jackson? Way different types of QB obviously, but both are light years better than what we have. Jackson has looked good this year, when he's played, and Orton I think would fit really well if this Charlie Weis thing came to fruition. Either of these players would allow us to not even worry about drafting a QB this year and wait for the better prospects to come along.

Kyle Orton- oh hell yeah. very accurate, and great at moving the chains & managing the game
Jason Campbell- yeah I would. Has some solid numbers, and has good skills.
Chad Pennington- too old, and too many injuries
Tarvaris Jackson- no. no accuracy, poor decisions
Kellen Clemens- maybe, but not that impressed w/ him so far, but I think in a better system, ya might have something
Charlie Batch- too old
Kyle Boller- hell no, he sucks, and always has
David Carr- I'd take a shot on Carr
Brodie Croyle- same as Clemens
Daunte Culpepper- washed up, and has been for years. Why do teams keep picking him up??
Rex Grossman- hell no
Joey Harrington- hell no
Jon Kitna- too old
Matt Moore- hell yeah, but the Panthers aren't gonna let him go. He can play though.
Chris Redman- I like Redman. I'd be happy w/ him in a Bills unie.
Brett Ratliff- no effin way
Troy Smith- no thanks
