He'd be happy at #3. Yeah, I think he would, but who knows what TD/GW think. I think He, Moulds, Reed, Shaw, and Aiken would be a heck of a 5-some.

Cap room isn't an issue at all. Stokes won't get a huge deal. He'll probably end up signing a cheap one year deal, or a little more expensive 2-3 year deal.

He's not great but he's better then Shaw. I don't think our passing game would miss a beat from losing Price if we brought Stokes into the mix. Moulds, Reed, and Stokes would be a good tandem.

I've seen nothing from Stokes, EVER! I often get Owens in my fantasy league and Stokes is awful. I would rather see Shaw and have Aiken challenge for the #3 spot later this year.

if stokes is so bad, then shaw will beat him out right?

competition is never a bad thing, and you can't have too many receivers. He's cheap and we certainly have the cap room.

What are the chances?

What are you guys talking about, C'mon, the guy sucks. He is 31 years old and has never had a 1,000 yard season. Unless he comes here on the very minimum I don't want anything to do with him.

We're not looking for someone to replace Moulds here...

He's 6'4"/225 and has averaged over 500 YPS and ~ 4 TDs/ssn and only played a portion of one of those seasons. He'd be a great #3 for a couple of years. He's been virtually completely healthy for the last 6 seasons.

Besides, last year everyone was stoked for Charles Johnson, so Stokes should be even more tantalizing.

It looks to me like Stokes would be an excellent fit here. He can really blaze down the field having him, Reed and Moulds on the field in a three receiver set would be very beneficial to this team. Anyone that can't see that has blinders on IMO.

Ya hear that baal!

You've got blinders on bud!!!

I love it how some entrepeneurs can take old scratched up sunglasses and paint them with a film of poxy and sell them as sunglasses again.

I dont see anyone asking why SF let him go... If he could not excel opposite TO, much like PPrice did here last season, what does that tell you? He cant beat 1 on 1 matchups against #2 or #3 CB's?

He's big, fast and nonproductive. Sign him for the veteran minimum and hope he shows something.

He obviously didn't fit in well with San Fran. That does not mean he won't fit in somewhere else. That does not mean he can't fit in here. He has 9 years experience and from what I have seen he catches the ball when it's thrown to him.

sounds like Jacksonville is quite interested in him.

He'd be a good 3rd receiver. He was a good 3rd receiver in SF. The problem is that he wasn't drafted to be a 3rd guy and no longer fit their plans. They had bigger plans for him and he just isn't number one material. Big deal. He's big and actually pretty good near the endzone. Why would we want a 3rd receiver to even come close to 1000 yards?

San Fran. has zero depth at wide receiver and still dumped Stokes. That should tell you something. He does not have good speed and while he does have great size, he isn't tough enough to use it. The Bills don't need him.

That's a possibility. He could just need a different system to work in.

Stokes sucks. As I said, I have watched a bunch of SF games and he does nothing.

Stokes is awful. Tai Streets made him look like Russell Copeland. The guy couldn't do jack playing next to Rice and then, Owens.
