Bill Cowher isn't a candidate.

He's the next Bills head coach, if thats he decides he wants.

Can you imagine the reaction if the Bills past over Cowher for someone else? lol

He is the one big name guy that I don't really have any doubts about.
He'd be worth every penny no matter what he costs you, Ralph.
Get it done.

Cowher as head coach would make it possible for the Bills to raise the ticket price $10 - $20 and still sell out the season.

If Cowher is the head coach I guarantee a AFC championship appearance in three seasons.

Doubt Cowher would want TO. But maybe Plaxico Burress?

Cowher's first 2 choices, allegedly, are the Panthers and Bucs. The Panthers however want to keep Fox, who is signed through 2010, ostensibly because they don't want to eat Fox's 2010 salary AND pay a guy like Cowher, especially when 2011 could see no football being played. The Bucs OTOH, just hired a new coach this season, and have just come off a huge upset win over the previously 13-1 Saints. So basically, the Bills appear to have the inside track, unless the Panthers and Bucs have changes of hearts about their current coaches.

If Cowher wanted T.O., I wouldn't want Cowher.
