Like I said, A trustworthy friend told me that this is what his good friend (who works for the bills) said.

How can we announce a HC if we promised Fewell an interview after the season... seems we would wait until after our final game? Certainly it could be Modrak to GM and certainly this COULD mean that Cower is imminent, but... a lot of ifs - trying not to get too excited.

Only thing I know about Nix is that he is an SEC guy and a good eye for talent, so that might represent some change in philosophy but I dont see how Modrak represents an upgrade to this franchise considering the heavy influence he has had already.

modrak could mean cowher but nix (who is an elite talent evaluator) would probably mean another coordinator that has done nothing unless he still has ties to marty S. from the san diego days.

This is so BS. If this was true, every NFL reporter/blogger would be reporting it because it would have been leaked by the Bills or someone close to the Bills to garner more press for the event (ESPN, etc...)

Nix is going to be named GM today. The Bills would not hire a coach during the season, it would be a slap in the face to the entire coaching staff preparing for the last game.

By the way, IF they interviewed John Guy, the Rooney rule is covered! The hiring of either Nix or Modrak is O.K. in my eyes as long as Ralph Wilson keeps his nose out of the football related decisions. Out of the Bill Polian tree, John Butler was a General Manager, A.J. Smith was a General Manager, and now Buddy Nix gets his shot. THAT, my friends, is a pretty nice progression of success if you ask me!! I'd like to see a better Director of Player Personnel, but we'll see how the whole organizational chart changes.

If Fox wants out, you can be certain that the Panthers will demand he forfeit his 2010 salary. The question then becomes, would Fox rather have a job and salary and no extension, or NO job and NO salary next year?

Everybody has to calm down...it's obvious a ton of people are not happy with this move, but calling each other out will not change it. We are all Bills fans and used to mediocrity..this seems to be just continuing that path.

John Fox's downside is that he is extremely loyal to his players and doesnt make change when needed. IE: Desean Foster, Delhomme.

On a side note his pressers are horrible and gives no information. "it is what it is" is one of his favorites
