    Buddy's List of Coaches...

    Here are the guys that may be on Buddy's list

    1. Perry Fewell-ROONEY RULE INTERVIEW..
    2. Brian Schottenheimer-Marty's boy..
    3. Jim Haslett-Raplh's plan c
    4. Charlie Weis- Ralph's plan B
    5. Jim Fassell- why ?
    6. Bill Cowher- Pipe dream Plan A
    7. Ted Cottrell-see perry or back as Def coord again ? not likely
    8. John Fox - If he is fired....

          2. Marty (Nix can beg him to come out of retirement)
          3. Brian Billick (Fits the bill of what Nix wants.)
          4. Charlie Weiss
          5. Russ Grimm
          6. Leslie Fraizier
          7. Brian Schottenheimer
          8. Haslett (head coach experience but limited success.)

            i think that is who is on the radar
            i think Cowher should be top priority throw everything we got at him

              Russ Grimm, Bill Cowher, Marty Shott, or BUST! I don't see any other scenario under which we would be successful. Fassel maybe if he hires the right coordinators.

                Haslett makes me sick. If Ralphs idea of the right direction is Nix and Haslett he's a senial stumbling old fool. Oh wait, he is a senial stumbling old fool.

                  I think you can delete the bolded guys from the list.

                  Ralph was pretty clear he wanted an offensive guy, not a defensive. And both Haslett and Fraizier are defensive guys.

                  Nix said he wanted a guy who was a HC before so you can probably delete the coordinators who've never coached as well (Brian Schott and Grimm).

                  that leaves these guys...

                  1. Cowher
                  2. Marty
                  3. Brian Billick
                  4. Charlie Weiss (HC in college)

                  that said, Marty is probably not coming out of retirement, which means of your pretty good list we're probably only really looking at these 4, and only 3 of them are believable options.
