My dream coaching scenario

So many here are sold on Cowher as the savior, I am not. I have a feeling that LeBeau is a very large portion of Cowhers past successes. Bring him in as HC and let him run the defense, bring in Weis to run the offense. IMO this is a winning combination.

Not a bad thought, although we've seen before that good coordiantors don't necessarily make good head Coaches. I'm not convinced that Lebeau is HC material. Just a hunch...

Hammer Lebeau was offered the Head coaching job back when he was the Bills DC and he said that he was too old and didn't want that position even back then.

There's a reason why LeBeau is never mentioned as a potential head coach whenever a team has a vacancy. He doesn't want to be one. He's a D-Coordinator and that's what he does best.

LeBeau will never be an NFL head coach again. He did it once and that was it.

Obviously Cowher or Schottenheimer would be excellent hires, but I'd be satisfied with Charlie Weis as our Head Coach IF we bring in a very credible DC.
