Guy was a finalist? That would have been a joke.

WOW..... if that is true then this team is even more ******ed than i thought.

"Russ [Brandon] and I scanned a list of possible candidates," Wilson said Thursday, per Sullivan. "We didn't know them. I didn't know them. I don't think Russ did. We narrowed it down to two candidates for the job of general manager of football, two in-house candidates."
If this is an accurate quote this then the "sources" quotes are pretty much dead on.

I'm sure that's what they told Guy. You're a finalist...now clear out your desk.

good to know they follow hiring practices that get them the best candidates. Things like this are deflating to anything positive. It just speaks to how inept the organizational culture is at OBD and how it's never going to change until RW dies.

This is EXACTLY why Cowher is not coming here. People forget that the coach ultimately works for Ralph. Can you imagine Cowher and Ralph in the same room??

Cowher is going to go where the owner is coherent.

Ralph has probably never heard of Bill Cowher. Russ hasn't either.
