Tebow played a really great game today. I have been saying for some time that I would go nuts if he were drafted by Buffalo. But im slightly starting to warm up to the idea. Whats everyone think?

I think Tebow is an overrated college QB and won't make it far as an NFL QB.

I could live with it if we drafted him in the 3rd or 4th round.

That will never ever happen, the furthest he falls is to the 2nd round because of his athletic ability alone.

Hey never say never he could fall to the third.

I'll tell you what. Before the game tonight, it was totally 'hell no' when it came to drafting Tebow, IMO. But he shocked me, and played one hell of a football game tonight. However, he would get absolutley exposed in the NFL if he has the same slooooooow delivery. That s**** doesn't fly in the pros. He would have to get the ball out a hell of alot quicker in order to be elite in this leauge. He impressed me with his accuracy tonight. But, he has work to do. Right now, I'd say he easily goes in the 2nd. Come combine, if he demonstrates great adjustments in his release and zip...He could end up being one of the top QB's taken. I'm waiting to see what happens at the combine to make any assessments on these QB's.

I quit watching once the score hit 37-3, but 95% of his completions were to wide-open receivers.

Hell, Fitz, TE and Brohm could've done that.

OK...maybe that's an exaggeration, but you get my drift.

I'll be all for it if we can somehow manage to get him in the 2nd. round...Won't happen though.

I'd consider him, if the Bills played in a dome.

But we don't.

I did not watch, and to be honest, I am not warm to this idea at all. I just do not have faith that a coaching staff will be put together that can teach him, and adjust an offense to his strengths.

If we are planning to copy the dolphins offensive gameplan then draft him... if not no way

When he drops back to pass you can tell where he is throwing because he takes so long to throw... dbs in the NFL will take advantage of that easily

I really dont understand how one game will make or lose a prospect millions of dollars. Before the game, he was projected mid first to early second round. Now after one (possibly lucky) game, he may get picked top ten?

That being said, Id take him second round, just to see what he can do.

He would need some tweaks to his release but he has some tools to work with. There have been less talented QBs starting in the NFL.

If we were up for drafting a QB that runs the option well, I'd much prefer Terrelle Pryor in 2011...he won't make it to his senior year in 2012. Use the draft this season to build the lines (again). And dig up an FA QB that can prove functional for 1-2 years.

He will be a 1st rounder. I will bet anything

Tebow is not athletic. As athletic as a pulling center can be. This isnt Vick or S Young here, maybe T Gerhardt.

And those teams probably ended up drafted high again the next year.

And the next year.

Until they got a real QB.

He is a possibility.
With Marty coaching Tebow how can he go wrong since he will be throwing to D Bryant.

I didnt say he should be drafted high. I'm only talking about him playing QB in the NFL whether that is as a 1st rounder or a 3rd rounder.

can he play tight end? cause he reminds me of a physically fast maturing teenager who peaked against college kids and when he gets to the man level will disappear as mediocrity..he seems to get worse every year

I don't think he'll ever amount to anything in the NFL so there is a good chance we take him.
