I would like to think so. When Jauron first got fired, I did a search of some of the younger "up and coming" coordinators in the league as potential replacements, specifically remember him and contacting a writer for the NY Post and asked about him.. He distinctly remember him telling me that the fans hate him and Rex Ryan wasn't very happy with the way he was developing the offense either.

I know that doesn't mean jack squat, but I dont like him at all from what little I know about him.

I really hope we dont hire any first-time head coaches, but if we do I'd much rather have Rivera.

But realistically, assuming Cowher is a no-go once the season ends I think that Billick is about as good as they're going to get.

As far as coaches I do not want: Schottenheimer, Haslett and Martz. There is no way this team will get better under any of those three.
