if accurate that is BIG NEWS.

I'd still worry about Carolina, despite any previous reports.

I'm really having a hard time buying all these recent 'votes of confidence'.

Heads are going to roll this week.

(Marino actually just stated on the pregame he only expects maybe four vacancies this season, and threw Cleveland and Oakland into the mix with Buffalo and Washington, for what it's worth)

Charley Casserly also said he expects Kubiak to be back.

Del Rio likely safe

That makes:

Texans likely out
Carolina likely out

Bills wide open.

There were rumblings a little while back about Cowher and the Browns. With Holmgren there now as GM, is there any likelihood that Cowher would go there I wonder, as I believe he has some sort of ties to them?

I think Kubiak had to win today to be certain tbh. Isn't this the 1st year they have actually had a winning record? It would be a tough call to do that to him.
I don't know if they are guaranteed playoffs now, but it's certainly as close as they have come. In fairness, I think next year is the year they either get there (playoffs), or Kubiak is done, unless he goes 10-6 and doesn't make it.

The Browns just won like their 5th. game in a row, and seemed to have rallied around Mangini so he's not going anywhere Buddo.

Actually, that might be very ironic. The Bills kick start the Browns season, so they don't make a play for Cowher. ;)
It would also depend on how he and the Walrus got on as well.
