Detroit just tied it at the start of the 4th Quarter.
Unlike the Browns game, this one DOES matter for Buffalo.

I still think Chicago will win.

yeah. if Chicago wins we draft 9th. if they lose we draft 10th.

hrm.. no... one other game matters for us. Oakland. we want Oakland to win. if both them and Chicago can manage to win we'll be drafting 8th... and this win won't matter (our draft position won't change, as we headed into the weekend in 8th to start with). my bad.

Basically we're drafting 10th with this win.

an oakland win will = -1 to our draft position
a chicago win will = -1 to our draft position

how's that for simplifying it?

i don't believe any other games affect our position anymore.

I've heard if Oakland wins today it could literally come down to a coin flip between us and them it would be so close.

No, I was told if Chicago and Buffalo and Oakland all won, it could come down a coin flip between Buffalo and Oakland for the 8th pick it would be so close, depending on a crapload of today's results.

No...8 or 9 depending on what the Bears do.

TOP 10 draft spot doesn't guarentee pro-bowl starter

Agreed but its ALWAYS one less to pick to wait on the guy you want to get.

yeah.. but as of heading into the weekend oakland's opponents had like 10 total wins more then ours... we play indy (14 wins) they play balt (8 wins) which means if we both win we'll be separated by 4 wins, we'd need quite a few other games in the league to go our way for us to get boned out of that difference in strength of schedule. it's not impossible it's just not really likely.

so for simplicity sake... lets just say oakland has the tougher schedule baring some sort of weird weekend result.

All is safe for now... let's go Raiders... beat the Ravens.

27-23 Chicago with just over 4 minutes left.

barring a miracle, it looks like the bears have that one wrapped up, TD!

we're drafting 9th as of that win. one more game will determine our draft slot... raiders vs ravens. raiders win and we're drafting 8th (same place we'd be drafting prior to this week), they lose and we're drafting 9th.

the real Jay Cutler is back....he is making a case for Lovie to stay, maybe even Ron Turner....it's all his fault they aren't in playoff contention

That would be nice...a win on the last day and keeping our draft position...can't beat it!

I thought it was too close to call (Raiders) and would depend on other results in the league today, and could come toa coin flip?

you mean the same Vikings with the 2nd weakest strength of schedule in the league (only NO having a weaker schedule), and who are currently self destructing because their idiot head coach picked a fight with Favre?
