Based on this mock, make your selection. The draft order is now set.

1. STL: DT Ndamukong Suh NEB
2. DET: OT Russell Okung OREG ST.
3. TB: DT Gerald McCoy
4. WAS: QB Sam Bradford
5. KC: WR Dez Bryant
6. SEA: QB Jimmy Clausen
7. CLE: S Eric Berry
8. OAK: DE Derrick Morgan
9. BUF: ?

I think they have to go McClain here. You could make a case for Davis or Williams or Campbell...but damn...this is gonna be tough. I think Mallett goes back for senior season.

It'd love to go Bruce Campbell with this pick... but Bell played well when not going offsides, and we don't know what Brad Butler can do at tackle (past preseason)... If not Brucey C, then I'd go with a reach for Dan Williams or Brian Price if we can't land Ryan Pickett in the offseason (We were the runner up with Larry Tripplett if none can remember that failure...). If we snag him? Go OT, QB (Bradford or Mallett there) then either OLB or DE if Schobel retires.

Too many question marks... But I'd put my money now on going DE with a Schobel retirement.

I agree, Haden is the best available player. But we don't need another CB. We just extended McGee and McKelvin will be as good or even better than McGee.

If your logic is taking the best player available no matter the position, then yes Haden has to be the pick. I just think there are bigger needs to address than CB.

Aaron Maybin? Oh, you were looking for another 3rd stringer to be drafted in the first round... my bad.

What about this line?

LT: Levitre

Levitre isn't a LT in this league IMO.

Rolando McClain all the way.

Him and Poz in the middle of our new 3-4 D lead by Bill Cowher. I can totally see it. He's gonna be a superstar.

Its gotta be the LB

We can't afford to waste another top ten pick on a "gut feeling". We need to pick a "can't miss" this time around, therefore I say McClain.

McClain i agree or Mt Cody if we switch to a 3-4

Draft Tebow. Then hold the Jags up for 3 picks in trade.

I agree with the McClain pick. He is as close to being a sure thing as there is in that position.

Campbell is an interesting prospect. Davis that early is questionable.

Anthony Davis, Rutgers OT or Bruce Campbell, Maryland OT. With Nix, I wouldn't doubt a 2nd round QB.

If we dont get a LT here, then yes it has to be McClain to me.

with that draft board i'd go DE or LT

I'd take McClain or a LT...who ever is available.

I'm predicting a trade down. We need a lot of bodies, especially if we change to the 3-4. Buddy Nix likes rookies and I'm sure he'd love to acquire some more picks.

Rolando McClain. If he was gone and all the QB's are gone I have no problem with the Bills picking offensive and defensive lineman with every pick.

If Anthony Davis is there, he's my pick. If not, Rolando McClain

I think we get a need either way in this spot...
DT, LB, DE, OT, QB..........

The wya I see the draft going is Defense, Defense, Defense......We may see Bradford slip to us but we will see...

Without McClain declaring yet I can't say him, so as of this moment the pick is Bruce Campbell for me.

When/If McClain declares he becomes the pick.

Honestly, It depends on who we get as a coach.

If we get someone who wants to move to a 3-4, then all bets are off. Could be a NT, LB, QB or OT.

Heck, if dez Bryant is there it could even be a WR.

my GUESS is they will be looking between LB and OT, but a lot depends on who is there i suppose.

Easy, McClain.

I gotta see how Dunlap performs in the combine. The guy has a ton of talent and versatility and his production was solid.

At 6'6 290 he could easily become a more dangerous version of Richard Seymour who was largely responsible for the turnaround of the Pats in 2000.

Yes he has a "lazy" label but I think that it has more to do with him facing a lot of double teams.

And yes he was also caught with a DUI but I think Nix would let that slide if he believes in Dunlap as a versatile talent.

Outside of Dunlap my favorite pick would be Derrick Morgan. And since he is taken in this scenario I would also consider Jerry Hughes, Brandon Graham and Everson Griffin who could all rise into the top 10 after the combine.

Without knowing if we will be going to a 3-4 defense, it's hard for me to pick...and I predict that there will be alot of changes with the new HC...I don't see Denney coming back or Reed.

I do hope they bring TO back.

StL taking Suh would be like the lions drafting 3 WRs in 4 years...

They already took a DT and DE in the top 10 in the last 3 years. Taking another one would tie up well over 120 mil in their d-line on a team that is missing players everywhere.

They'll take a QB at number 1. no question about it.

and it will be Clausen (as I predicted a month ago).

1. Ryan Mallet

Desperately need a QB. Someone who has the potential to build the offense around. I won't be surprised if he turns out better than both Bradford and Clausen.

2. Rolando McClain

Could become our defensive anchor. A guy you build defenses around.

3. Mike Iupati

Dude is a beast. Might be a bit of reach here but I like him fitting in better than all others mentioned here, especially Campbell.

By the way, I'm the newest Bills fan. Glad to join your forum.

Poz deserves to be on the field, but not at MLB. Draft McClain and you fill two holes with one dude. :ontome:
