I am a little disappointed and surprised that they let him go.

Get over it.

How come all my friends text me saying

"Bills let all the coaches go?"

"Yes"

"Does that mean Bobby April was fired too?"

"He's a coach"

"So did he?"

It's football. Changes need to be made all over once in awhile.

Chris Brown reported earlier in the season April would not be back, he was pissed after being passed over on the interim head coaching job.

Damn, I thought that ESPN said they fired everyone except for Bobby April, but then I re-read it and your right. That sucks. Add that to the list of never ending bone head moves.

2 years ago, I'd give a s***. But we didn't really do anything this year on ST.

Not 1 KR for a touchdown this season.

hard to be consistent when you have players coming in an out more than walmart.

the next coach gets to pick his staff

April being canned with the rest of the coaches was a complete no brainer

I can think of 2 games where poor play by special teams cost us wins.

A botched defense of an obvious onside kick, a return that should have never been taken out of the endzone.

I can't remember a game where the special teams actually won the game?

Exactly. These past two years we have seen more S.T. penalties than we should see in a decade. And I know, the players have sucked, blah blah. But we have always placed an emphasis on S.T.s, mostly because that is all we were good at, so it wasnt all the players. Glad to see April gone. I understand all the love he is getting, and it is because he has been a bright spot on a dismal team.

The special teams play has tapered off as of late. Plus he has been in line for the Bills HC job for a while and keeps getting passed over. And rightfully so.

At one point we led the league this year in ST penalty's, ST blunders led to at least 2 losses (NE and Clev) and save for one trick play to Denny, and one good run bacm by Jackson, they sucked all year. This teams staff is good at one thin........losing..........Bobby April included. Good riddence.

Special teams used to get us wins. We got wins from S.T. because our offense could not get us any points. Parrish would get a TD from a KR or PR, then he would get us into FG range. But that hasnt happened in a year. We concentrated on ST because it was the one area of the game we were good at.

I'm more upset about the possibility of losing Sanders. I was very impressed with what he did with the DL this season.

Name me the game where Parrish's return was pivotal in winning us a game.

I remember watching a Dallas game where all we had to do was cover the obvious onside kick and the game was over.

You see special teams isn't just kick off returns and field goals. You have to defend plays on special teams as well. We botched another onside kick last year as well.

You gotta let the new coach pick his staff. If April was that great and he wants to be here, then let the new coach take him back.

Not sure how credible this is because i never go there for football news, just hockey, but TSN in Canada reports April was kept.
