I don't think Fewell is a bad D-coordinator. He had a very ordinary D-line in Buffalo, with no real pass rushing ends. Injuries turned a subpar linebacking corps at the start of the season, into a complete disaster. Injuries riddled the secondary as well.

but chicago's biggest issue is still at QB. they have a 4th year vet throwing 20+ INT's in a season. I'm not sure how they are going to deal with that from a defensive standpoint.

Fewell should be happy as he'll have a handful of actually talented from 7 players and <gasp> some real sized linebackers.

Makes sense. He was a position coach under Lovie when he was a DC in St. Louis and HC in Chicago. Same scheme is still there. Good fit for both really.
