“As you’re going forward, it’s really about putting a partnership together,” Billick said. “I think any organization, including the Bills, that are looking for a head coach, have to decide what type of structure they want to put together before they can reach out and say, ‘We want this kind of coach or that kind of coach.’ I had a pretty good first marriage in Baltimore with Ozzie Newsome, have a firm idea of what I’m looking for in an organization. We’ll see how it pans out now as it stands with both Washington and Buffalo.”

Re: Billick comments on Bills Job
Reading between the lines, he's saying that if it involves a meddling owner he's not interested.
Ralph has made a bad name for himself and it's coming back to bite him now.
I still think Billick will be our coach but he will not tolerate "business as usual" at OBD. Ralph either sticks to signing the checks and nothing more or we will be stuck with yet another 2nd tier wannabe.Last edited by Guest; 01-04-2010, 05:53 PM.

Re: Billick comments on Bills Job
Hmm, this is definitely very interesting. It's the first time Billick has appeared to not rip the team or say anything that might offend someone in the administration. Maybe he realizes that he has a good chance at getting the job and wants it....

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
