With a possible jail sentence still awaiting defensive lineman Bryan Robinson, neither he nor the Bears know if or when the NFL will tack on a suspension for his second DUI conviction.
According to league policy, discipline for a second alcohol-related violation "is likely to be a suspension, the duration of which may escalate for repeat offenses."
Robinson begins an in-patient alcohol treatment program today in Lake County, and his 30-day jail sentence, which was imposed Friday, will be reconsidered on June 27. If his sentence isn't reduced, the six-year veteran would miss the start of training camp.
