All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

First truly reliable source to pick up Cowher rumor
Breaking news, live coverage, investigations, analysis, video, photos and opinions from The Washington Post. Subscribe for the latest on U.S. and international news, politics, business, technology, climate change, health and wellness, sports, science, weather, lifestyle and more.
As far as I know, the washington post is the first major news source to pick up the rumor originally posted by East Aurora.
Now, I know Sal was the first to re post it on a message board, but I believe the only other sources to repost this were PFT (who practically wrote the rumor off), and buffalo rumblings who pretty much did the same.
The Washington Post is the first MAJOR news source to release this and hold it as a rumor with validity.

I'd like to think so, but the Post writer makes no indication that he attempted to confirm the veracity of the source (the way Pat Moran is).
All he's doing is reporting what the speculation is.
I would hope that a major news organization wouldn't just repeat gossip, but my faith in the mainstream media is at an all time low.
I agree with this. Last night I tried to find out just who Joe Logan is. He has no background in sports but a BA from RIT and he works in computer programming. He is in some sort of government role. Doesn't seem like the guy to have contacts, but he doesn't seem like the kind of guy to post this stuff as a lie or joke.
Someone at boards.buffalobills.com also said he knows Joe and the man knows people in the front office.
Who knows? I just like how a major news source posted it without tearing it down.
