And don’t expect Fewell back in Buffalo to resume his defensive coordinator role. He’s all but certain to take on the same role in Chicago under Lovie Smith, and I’m hearing he’ll bring Bills defensive backs coach George Catavolos with him.
Oh, and don’t expect Bobby April back either. He wasn’t happy with yesterday’s events and is bound to get snapped up quick.

Come on guys Fewell ran a good D given the players he had to work with. Taking into account all the players lost to injury over the last few years any coach would have a hard time running a defense. Our offense was the issue plain and simple this year. Our D kept us in most of the games. Blaming Fewell isn't fair.Comment

fewell's defense played two more games worth of snaps than the offense. with the turnover ratio the way it was, a mildly capable offense could have won 10 games off the TO.
I think fewell will do well in chicago, and good for him. it'll be interesting to see if he can play the corners up on the line with a rush that actually gets to the qb.Comment
