I find this very interesting. When you combine this with the report that Cowher is putting together a staff it is possible that Arians is trying to push his way out of Pittsburgh so he can join Cowher.

If that is the case I expect Cowher will go after Kevin Greene to be his DC.

HC: Cowher

OC: Bruce Arians

DC: Kevin Greene

That's Nasty.

That's a nice coaching group. Carolina fans will be pleased. Wish them luck.

Haslett worked for Cowher also.

I think its more of Tomlin not being pleased with the pass happy offense

Agreed. I still don't think Cowher will be in Buffalo. As much as I hope he does come. I'm not getting my hopes up. At this point I think its obvious that the Bill haven't offered the contract we all thought they would to get him.

the impression i got the pass happy offense was his idea. besides, Ben Roethlisberger (http://espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5536) had a fantastic season, it's not like the passing attack was their problem.

The Steelers problem was their defense (strangely enough) who couldn't hold any late game lead the offense got them.

The more and more I think of it, Billick is looking like a very attractive hire.

How is this interesting?

Arians is terrible.

His firing signifies nothing besides the team finally getting sick of his inability to call a game well.

He was the same in Cleveland before he went to Pittsburgh.

He's also not getting fired.

Pitt is retaining him
