2009 Comments:
10/29/09- vs. VT- Underrated. Is very productive, seems to be everywhere. Excellent closing speed. Hes a play maker for sure. Does a great job of realizing when the QB has no one to throw to and then closes fast on the QB. Nasty run defender who is tough to block. Diagnoses the play quick and gets to the ball fast. Unlike some LB'ers, his tackles will come close to the line of scrimmage because he has strong diagnosing skills and quick closing speed. Add in his solid tackling, and rugged approach to the game, and hes a solid prospect.
12/26/09- vs. Pitt, Meineke Car Care Bowl- Dumb ST mistake where he hit the returner as the ball got there. Can over pursue at times and get caught missing a tackle on a cut back (4th 8:28).
