According to Joe Logan of EastAurora.org, the Buffalo Billshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2_bing.gif (http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/The_Trenches/entry/view/50748/are_cowher,_bills_in_contract_negotiations?_#) and Bill Cowher are in the middle of contract discussions for the head coaching vacancy. Logan tweeted late Wednesday night (http://boards.buffalobills.com/budget.http://twitter.com/LoganInEA/status/7465721157), "Cowher OK with what the BIlls will offer Salary wise, but looking for commitment from RB for player."
ESPN's Adam Schefter contends Cowher will not return (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4795363) to coaching in 2010 and will continue his job with CBS as a studio analyst.
As for other possible candidates, there have been reports that Brian Billick has contacted potential staff (http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/The_Trenches/entry/view/50567/report_billick_working_on_assembling_bills_staff) if he were to get the Bills' job.
