That kid is going to be good.

He sure had to grow up fast. At least they took the reins off of him in the second half instead of continuing the Buffalo-Bills-esque run, run, pass, punt method. He was fairly impressive for a freshman in his first real game.

He has a much better arm than McCoy.

And I agree w/you capitolneal, he will be playing on sunday's.

Far too early to tell anything.

He showed good poise at times in the 3rd and 4th Q, but his mistakes were bad. His ball security was bad and his passes were not very accurate for the most part.

Granted he was a true freshman and in the biggest game of his career, but still to say after that performance that he will be playing on Sunday's is quite premature.

You could tell by five passes he has a better arm then McCoy.

Of course he made mistakes but you can correct those. He has big skills.

Not tough to have a better arm than McCoy, and I never disputed that. He has skills but they are extremely raw and for some to say he will play on Sunday's based on just last night is a leap that nobody should ever take.

ooooohhhh, I guess I took that "leap".

Yes I think the kid has mad skills and he will develop into a NFL qb.

Good for you, but Ive seen far too many Texas QB's play very well and become nothing.

I prefer to wait and see how the kid actually develops first.
