RB undergoes arthroscopic surgery on injured right knee, not ready to practice
Dominic Rhodes has encountered what the Indianapolis Colts consider a mild speed bump on his return from reconstructive knee surgery.
The team's backup running back underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Friday. That's the same knee Rhodes injured during training camp last August that forced him to miss the 2002 season.
"He didn't have total range of motion and our doctors felt like it was probably due to some scar tissue in there," coach Tony Dungy said after Monday's summer school workout at the Union Federal Football Center.
Rhodes, who tore the anterior cruciate and lateral collateral ligaments in the knee on Aug. 15, had targeted Monday for his return to the practice field. He was not at Monday's drills....
