    Wood's recovery

Anyone have any info on how he's doing? I haven't heard a word about him since they carted him off the field.

Any early indications of how bad it was and likelihood of recovery?

I would really like to hear an answer to this, as well. I hope somebody has some actual insight, and this thread doesn't get buried under endless speculation about the HC position.

Maybe, with the Cowher hunt on hold, we could have the horde refocus their efforts on finding out what's up with Woods.

I'm sure they could figure out where he lives, where his parents live (might be the same) and where his therapy sessions are. Could probably figure out who his therapist is, how large her . . . eh . . . ahem. . . what she feels his progress is toward returning to the field.
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

The last thing I heard was that the surgery was successful and that he would be ready for camp, or maybe earlier

Compound fractures are ugly, but generally heal more quickly than torn ACLs, Achilles tendons, nerve damage, etc.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

C/G Eric Wood. Obviously, his inclusion on this list is contingent on his recovery from the gruesome leg injury he suffered in November. He's a big, tough, mobile, smart kid that belongs in the pivot - and if he's healthy in 2010, don't be shocked if he ends up there.

Buffalo Rumblings lists 21 current Buffalo Bills that are virtual locks to be on the team in 2010, regardless of who the new coach is or the schemes he runs.

I was hoping that someone had heard about a Joe Logan tweet confirming that Wood's doctor's administrative assistant had been called back to the office over the weekend to open an envelope full of the latest xrays which someone's brother's postman had allegedly delivered to the doctor's mailbox on friday.
