Anyone have any info on how he's doing? I haven't heard a word about him since they carted him off the field.

Any early indications of how bad it was and likelihood of recovery?

this thread contains neither the word "Cowher" nor the word "rumor." Please stop wasting our time with legit discussion of the team and start making up some bull****.

I would really like to hear an answer to this, as well. I hope somebody has some actual insight, and this thread doesn't get buried under endless speculation about the HC position.

does he have a facebook page or twitter or something that we can ask him on?

Maybe, with the Cowher hunt on hold, we could have the horde refocus their efforts on finding out what's up with Woods.

I'm sure they could figure out where he lives, where his parents live (might be the same) and where his therapy sessions are. Could probably figure out who his therapist is, how large her . . . eh . . . ahem. . . what she feels his progress is toward returning to the field.

The last thing I heard was that the surgery was successful and that he would be ready for camp, or maybe earlier

Compound fractures are ugly, but generally heal more quickly than torn ACLs, Achilles tendons, nerve damage, etc.

C/G Eric Wood (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/71167/Eric_Wood). Obviously, his inclusion on this list is contingent on his recovery from the gruesome leg injury he suffered in November. He's a big, tough, mobile, smart kid that belongs in the pivot - and if he's healthy in 2010, don't be shocked if he ends up there.

I was hoping that someone had heard about a Joe Logan tweet confirming that Wood's doctor's administrative assistant had been called back to the office over the weekend to open an envelope full of the latest xrays which someone's brother's postman had allegedly delivered to the doctor's mailbox on friday.

The team site? Why would I, or anybody, ever check that?
