ESPN is reporting that it is a 5 yr. $35 million deal...RW is now free to hire Frazier on the cheap.

The two aren't anywhere near related, in any manner.

Why the correlation?

Completely related...Seattle was interested in interviewing Frazier...now, nobody else will be bidding against RW.

My bad...a temporary mental lapse shut out Frazier as the token interview for the Seahawks job.

Carry on...

token or not, he could still try to negotiate one against the other.

IMO, I think Seattle is taking a very, very big gamble on a guy, who I think, is way more suited for the college game. He was good at USC mainly b/c of his recruiting skills. Last time I checked ya don't recruit players in the NFL. Making him the highest paid coach in the NFL, and giving him lots of power w/ personal decisions is a bad situation waiting to happen. I predict in 3 years or less, he'll be begging USC to take him back.
