    would you rather....

Trade for mcnabb and have a coordinator as hc, or sign cowher and have edwards as the starter next year?

Cowher. Edwards will either do well or lose the job. Non-issue.

Lol, I love this reply....I was just bored and this was supposed to be an either or question.

But id LOVE both! The day cowher and mcnabb are both employed by the buffalo bills would be the best day of my life as a bills fan!

Cowher and Edwards. Cowher won a wildcard game with "XFL MVP" Tommy Maddox and went to an AFC Championship game with "Slash" Kordell Stewart under center

            cowher edwards for me.

mcnabb (old vet on wrong side of his career), matced with new up an coming coordinator has been done in buffalo before. it didn't work out. then we'll have to pick a big name QB with no Coach and no philosphy.

we've already played this game with the decade called the 2000's.

McNabb and Dick Jauron over Cowher and Edwards.

This team needs a lot of talent to win games, starting at the QB position, not just a name HC.

Cowher went to the superbowl with Kordell Stewart as his QB.

                        No he didn't.

                        Neil O'Donnell was the starter.

But I guess that says something too haha.

You guys wouldn't be interested in McNabb or Kolb if they became available?

McNabb put up his third-best QB rating of his career this season. I understand we went down this path with Bledsoe already, but McNabb is much better and would allow us to hopefully groom a young QB behind him.

I would love to have McNabb as our stop gap QB

but Cowher Edwards would be my choice if I had to choose one or the other..

but lets face it.. Without a coach like Cowher we're not going to be able attract FA's to this team and we're not going to get much better quickly IMO

well first of all if either is available it will be McNabb, the eagles i think are committed to Kolb as their QB of the future.

I am not against getting McNabb but it always comes down to price. Do we pay more then a 3rd? How many years are left on his deal? How many more years are left in his tank. Finally, would he want to play here?

That last question is of paramount importance, because if i'm McNabb i don't want to go to buffalo at this point in my career. He's near the end of his career. He probably is looking to win a SB to wrap it all up. He won't win one here anytime before he's going to be nearing retirement.

That doesn't mean he won't come if traded... but you might see a Richard Seymour situation pop up, where he's here for a season, and retires or leaves by FA... hell he might just retire on the spot or refuse to report.

My bad. He took the Steelers to two AFC title games with Kordell as QB.
