Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier doesn't need the Rooney Rule to get a head coaching job.A former Chicago Bears defensive teammate of Mike Singletary on the Super Bowl XX championship team, Frazier worked his way up the ranks as a defensive backs coach before becoming a highly regarded defensive coordinator in Minnesota.
He's said to be a leader of men with a high football IQ.
Look for Frazier to become the Buffalo Bills' new coach as soon as this week and for him to have a longer NFL coaching career than Pete Carroll in Seattle.

one way or another, he is still on payroll of a team that is still in the playoffs, and until one of those two things change he wont be named anything.

Sac Bee covers the SF 49ers, and Mike Singletary, who's best friends with Frazier. So they may have a connection. Not sure if Singletary would give them the tip but it's possible.

To me, it just sounds like a logical guess, and nothing more than that. How can the Bills name Frazier the head coach this week? Minnesota hasn't even played yet, they can't!
