Pearson avoids complacency
Mike Pearson admits he breathed easier this offseason when the Jaguars' new coaching staff didn't draft an offensive left tackle or sign a prominent veteran in free agency.
Just don't ask Pearson if the team's inactivity at his position left him feeling comfortable.
"You can never get comfortable in this league," the second-year pro said yesterday after the second day of the Jaguars' passing camp at Alltel Stadium. "When you get comfortable, that's when you get into trouble. That's usually when you're headed out the door."...
