    Navies' athleticism impresses Packers

    A show of strength
Green Bay - Through the second day of the Green Bay Packers' second minicamp of this off-season, Hannibal Navies had worked solely at strong-side linebacker. Na'il Diggs, the starter at that position for the last three years, had practiced only on the weak side.

Typically, a team puts its most athletic outside linebacker on the weak side. And if the truth be known, in the case of the Packers, that might be Navies. On the hoof, running around in shorts in non-contact practices, he looks the part of a playmaking linebacker.

Navies stands 6 feet 3 inches and weighs 247 pounds, almost ideal dimensions, and is strikingly fluid in his pass drops and other assignments.
