    Mike Martz 53-32 = .624 win %

Martz is best known as the offensive coordinator behind the St. Louis Rams high-powered 1999 team that won the Super Bowl. As a head coach in the NFL Martz was 56-36 in 5⅓ seasons as the St. Louis Rams head coach. He won two division titles, had four playoff berths including a NFC championship and a trip to Super Bowl XXXVI

I know he might not be "the hot name"..but his bio is pretty strong at this point in the process..

if buffalo played in a dome then i would consider him but we play in a cold windy climate for half the year man. his system wouldnt work. maybe it would work if we had a younger brett farve, but i dont see that happening....

He's very passy-happy though. But he is an interesting candidate and atleast worth a look at.

No, he's not worth a look. He's garbage both as a coordinator and a head coach.

wait. next we'll have someone demand we hire Barry Switzer too.

              45-26 - 63.38% winning percentage
              1 superbowl ring.

good god. what about George Seifert?

              114- 62 - 64.8%

he was even 10-5 in the playoff and won 2 superbowl rings.

My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

I can't even imagine that clown calling 70% passing plays in the middle of December in Buffalo. Actually, I can. It has 4-12 written all over it.

He failed as a HC once St. Louis dissipated and he was awful as an OC in San Francisco. No thanks.

What kind of staff could he put together, anyway?

Please NO Mike Martz!!! His career record is elevated by the fact that he was the coach of one of the best offenses in NFL history. In reality the guy's horrible, and has no business coaching anywhere!

I'm by no means a fan of Martz and would hate his hire as head coach, but let's get over the 'we can't pass because we're in Buffalo' mindset.

Jim Kelly, Andre Reed and James Lofton aren't HOF worthy because they spent their careers handing off to or blocking for Thurman Thomas.

He's strictly a pass happy Dome coach.

Ralph, doesn't want anyone that seeks too much control. SOS, that's why he hired Nix for GM.

At this point what's the difference? By no means would he have been my first choice about three weeks ago...but considering that COORDINATORS and college coaches are turning us down, a guy like Martz is a godsend
